The week kicks off with the Sun entering Taurus (on Sunday, April 19 at 9:39 p.m.), setting the stage for a more grounded, values-driven approach to markets. Taurus, symbolized by the bull, has a natural affinity with steady growth and tangible assets. In investing terms, think a little less hype, and more fundamentals. It’s a reminder that while bullish trends can emerge, Taurus tends to favor patience and solid financial footing over speculation. Gold bugs may see slow but steady gains during the Sun in Taurus season. Watch out for stubborn attitudes - the shadow side of Taurus.

U.S. stock market drama mainly starts Tuesday as Venus (money) is conjunct Uranus (sudden surprises) within a 3-degree orbit window coincides with a slew of individual stock earnings announcements. Some of these notices could easily become catalysts for market volatility. Reports from established names like UnitedHealth Group, GE Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, D.R. Horton, Halliburton, Capital One Financial, United Airlines, Boeing, GE Vernova, American Express, Lockheed Martin, Intel, P&G, and in particular Tesla may disrupt investor sentiment in huge directional moves.

An additional disruptive geopolitical influence still exists. Apparently over this weekend on Saturday, April 18, shipping transportation on the Strait of Hormuz hit snafus when Iran renewed restrictions for passage and fired on a tanker, theoretically upsetting the current temporary ceasefire. The ongoing Middle East situation is extremely delicate. Yes, we all hope for a positive outcome, however I know one trader who calls hope a four-letter word when it comes to strategic planning.

Monday, April 20 – News Drives the Markets

Messenger Mercury in fiery warrior sign Aries merges with both Saturn and Mars—an intense and relatively rare combination. This setup often correlates with serious geopolitical developments, particularly involving governments or military pressures. Markets may open with early optimism thanks to supportive early morning lunar aspects, but don’t get too comfortable—news flow could quickly take the wheel and make us feel stuck. On the plus side, a new beginning is possible with these conjunction pairings. Perhaps Cannabis stocks will soar as weed lovers celebrate 4/20. (That’s more anecdotal than investment advice.) Big talk about this week’s earnings announcements should be blasted across all financial news media outlets.

Tuesday, April 21 – Tension Builds

A scheduled ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran expires, adding a layer of uncertainty if left unresolved from Monday. Meanwhile, the out of bounds Moon moves into Cancer at 1:00 p.m. and forms challenging 90° angles with Neptune, Saturn, Mars, and Mercury through early Wednesday. The Cancer-Aries cardinal impetus is one of initiative and action. In market language, this could be a tug-of-war between support and resistance levels. Emotional reactions might outweigh rational decision-making. Cancer wants protection and security yet Aries is driven to race ahead at all costs.

Wednesday, April 22 – A Breath of Optimism?

The extra emo Cancer Moon meets Jupiter, planet of expansion, optimism, and wealth. Sentiments may rise, particularly around international trade or legal developments. Markets may find some relief here, with a more constructive tone emerging—at least temporarily. This Earth Day may also remind investors to look at the environmental sector and renewable, clean energy.

Thursday, April 23 – The Main Event: Venus Meets Uranus

Now we get to the astrological headline act. Venus (money, assets, values) conjoins Uranus (disruption, innovation, shock) at the critical 29° of Taurus. This is classic “expect the unexpected” territory. Historically, this alignment has been associated with sudden market moves—both up and down.

Sectors most sensitive to this symbolism are:

• Technology stocks like the Magnificent 7

• Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum

• Financials, private credit and banks like JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo

Breakouts and breakdowns are equally possible, so risk management becomes essential. If markets were calm before, they likely won’t stay that way. Copper might surprise us, since this metal is associated with Venus.

The Moon enters Leo at 3:41 p.m. adding fuel to the fire of so many planets already in Aries. Thursday night the Leo Moon harmonizes by trine to Neptune, then squares off with the Sun, then opposes Pluto. This triplet transit can be influential for emotional dynamic actions surrounding oil, leaders, energy power plays. Keep your eyes on this.

Friday, April 24 – A Shift in Tone

Venus moves into Gemini, a sign known for speed, adaptability, and lighthearted living. Think quick trades, shifting narratives, and shorter attention spans. Trends and social media mania are spotlighted. The communications sector and AI stocks may bubble with enthusiasm, excitement, or fickle flicks of fingers. Meanwhile, the Moon in Leo adds a dose of confidence and momentum, potentially supporting bullish sentiment—at least in the short term.

Saturday, April 25 – Stability Challenges Innovation

The Sun in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius, signaling underlying tension. This aspect often highlights power struggles among government leaders, structural changes, or market stress points. Solar stocks and the markets may be tested yet again. For investors, this could feel like markets are being pushed to break through resistance—sometimes uncomfortably so.

Adding to the mix, Uranus enters Gemini at 8:50 p.m., doubling down on themes of rapid changes and scientific innovation for a new seven-year cycle. Modern mindsets shift as Uranus leaves earthbound Taurus for airy Gemini. We can expect fast-paced conversations, brilliant ideas to be born, and societal disruptions that changes our lives forever. Online predictions markets like Kalshi and Polymarket should gain enormous popularity and may even benefit people with a strong astrological 5th House. Venus forms a harmonious sextile configuration with Neptune, bringing optimism and even a touch of idealism—potentially influencing sectors like banking, oil and film. This is a wonderful day for creative projects and planning big, beautiful dreams. At the same time, Mercury squares Jupiter, which can amplify bullish enthusiasm for traders and negotiators—but also exaggeration. In plain terms: optimism is high, but not all of it may be justified.

Geopolitical developments remain relevant, as the 10-day peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon also concludes, adding another variable to watch.

Final Takeaway: Bullish… But Buckle Up In Case of Shakeouts

Overall, the week leans bullish astrologically—but it’s likely not a smooth ride. The Venus-Uranus conjunction is the wildcard, known for triggering sudden reversals and unexpected financial developments that suddenly occur like lightning bolt flashes.

The first was Saturn conjunct Neptune on February 20th – the previous catalyst for government’s involvement regarding oil and water. The upcoming Mercury conjunction to Mars and Saturn on Monday, April 20th, is likely the final piece of this perplexing puzzle. Mercury corresponds to communications, trade and commerce.

A short synopsis of last week: the overarching influences of Venus newly in Taurus making an applying square to Pluto, Mercury trine Jupiter, and the Sun square Jupiter combos proved beneficial for U.S. market indices. Square alignments act like a test and compel us toward dynamic directional movement. Four of the five planets involved last week are considered favorable. Let’s take the win in stride.

Buckle up as an extremely combustible time band is at hand. Mars is about to enter its home zodiac sign Aries on Thursday, April 9th at 3:36 p.m. This week’s catalyst? Mars sextile Uranus, exact Wednesday, April 8 at 12:11 p.m. Prepare for potential volatile opportunity breakouts or breakdowns with sharp moves in these sectors: technology, automotive, air travel, cryptocurrencies, space and advanced sciences.

Of course, global tremors and surprises related to the ongoing wars between Israel-USA-Iran and Russia-Ukraine are a strong possibility too. Defense, industrials, mining and sports are accented with so much Mars energy in the near term.

A weaker influence through this trading week is the Moon traveling through Sagittarius and Capricorn. La Luna is out of bounds Monday to Thursday. Trader and investor sentiments will likely be more emotional and sensitive to outer stimuli.

Fiery Sagittarius is typically bullish, aiming for expanded results. By nature, Capricorn is more serious, practical and organized. A distinct vibe change occurs when the Moon enters Capricorn Wednesday, April 8th at 8:04 a.m.

On “Hump Day” Wednesday, the Moon squares off with Mars, Neptune and Saturn. Watch what happens that day as a plausible signal indicator for what might soon develop since Mars conjoins Neptune and Saturn within the next two weeks. Square alignments from the Moon to malefic (aka malicious) planets can be stressful. Neptune is cloudier than the Hellenistic astrology malefics Mars and Saturn.

Mars soon enters the fog of Neptune, with the way forward unclear. This approaching Mars-Neptune conjunction is not precise until Monday, April 13th at 1:30 a.m. Remember: once we reach that peak, the dynamic duo impact starts to unwind. We’ll be feeling both these two planetary energies strongly all week long.

In simplest mundane terms, Mars is war and Neptune is oil. Mars is assertion and/or aggression while Neptune rules intangible illusions and visions. Deception, confusion, and uncertainty abound around this time.

Note: Mars dynamism is astrologically stealing the show this week for the seven traditional visible planets. Moon aside, there are no other exact planetary alignments during these seven days. The Mars-accented Aries stellium concentration burst of five to six bodies may be dangerous, so be especially careful driving (or swimming).

Noteworthy: be mindful of animal-like aggression coming from where you’d least expect. Last Friday, April 3rd just an hour before the perfecting Venus-Pluto square alignment, my next door neighbor’s pit bull - who has known me for years - viciously rushed toward me from behind their parked car, barking loudly, looking ready to bite me. Luckily the steel chain hooked to her collar remained posted in the ground. At least twice in the past she’s pulled it out of the ground. The dog came within an inch or two of me - a close call that scared the crap out of me.

At least one shocking event concerning water or oil is conceivable with Uranus and Neptune being triggered by Mars alignments. Continued problems surrounding oil and the Strait of Hormuz surely correspond to Mars in conjunction with Neptune.

An extended April influence: Uranus is now at 29° Taurus until April 26th. This infers financial matters are reaching a critical crisis period. Recent news regarding private credit sector problems corresponds to this cycle. Volatility in monetary issues as well as negotiations between people and nations are heightened now. Uranus here could easily suggest a fiscal bubble ready to burst.

Also notable: Chiron and dwarf planet Eris in Aries remain linked by only one degree apart, implying wounds (Chiron) and discord (Eris) due to war (Aries). This astrology is way too literal and even predictable, right? Just like yogis say, “As above, so below.” Chiron in financial astrology means accountability and problem solving, which is also experiencing discord from war.

According to the LUNA Astrology charts below, Monday, April 6th, shows an additional transit of Venus conjunct Ceres at 8° Taurus in the 9th house area of mass communications, legal dealings, long-distance travel, and foreign affairs. Venus oversees relationships while Ceres signifies nurturance – usually a nice blend for personal astrology.

However, this is primarily a financial astrology forecast newsletter. Venus also guides money, and Ceres’ scythe glyph is a tool for harvesting or cutting grain. Food prices are spotlighted, as well as other commodities. Likewise, communication companies Meta and YouTube are on high alert now since the recent verdict found them liable for promoting user addiction. These important sectors are under fire.

Since Ceres symbolizes cutting, a money dip may also occur on Monday and into Tuesday, when the Lot of Fortune conjoins Venus near 4:00 p.m. as markets close. The Lot (or Part) of Fortune denotes sudden events beyond one’s control. Sometimes it’s pure dumb luck, and other times it’s more “Ironic” like Alanis Morissette’s tune.

Quick U.S. Market Review: As of Friday, March 27, 2026, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), Nasdaq-100 and Nasdaq Composite indices have entered correction territory. The S&P 500 has had a pullback or “dip” rather than a full 10%+ correction. Not a good scenario.

The outer planetary alignment of Saturn sextile Pluto remains exact by degree until April 3-4. Refer to my prior post for more about this larger influence. Additionally, dwarf planet Ceres, known for harvesting or cutting, is actively square to Pluto during the week. This adds a secondary bearish factor.

The large grouping of planetary bodies in Aries suggests the war with Iran will sadly continue. Plus, there are a few important personal planetary catalysts to review this week:

First, on Monday, Venus entering Taurus occurs at 12:01 p.m. Money, harmony, and relationships are the guiding themes of this transit. Venus here will initially be in an applying square to Pluto in Aquarius, exact on April 3rd at 6:38 p.m. Perhaps fortunately, U.S. stock markets are closed that day for Good Friday.

Since copper is associated with Venus, we may see notable movement for this metal during the week. Under normal conditions, Venus in Taurus is considered supportive for rising copper prices—but this week carries added stress with the square configuration to Pluto.

We’ll likely feel tension from the approaching Venus–Pluto square all week. Venus (money and relationships) sits in a tense 90° angle to Pluto, the planet of power and underground energy forces. Need I say more? If this doesn’t echo what’s happening with the Iran war, nothing does.

Early this week, charts show goddess asteroid Juno which symbolizes wise, old money (in contrast to a more youthful Venus) is approaching Pluto while squaring Venus. This further exacerbates financial matters, power plays, debt and death.

On Wednesday, April 1st, there’s a Full Moon in Libra at 10:12 p.m. Once again, relationships and Venusian themes are highlighted, since Libra is ruled by Venus. The mood may feel heavy and somber, as the Sun is conjunct Saturn—and therefore opposite the Moon.

The most positive influence this week may be Mercury in Pisces forming a harmonious 120° trine to Jupiter in Cancer, exact on Friday, April 3rd at 7:28 a.m. This could help lift markets on Thursday, April 2nd. Still, these planets are in emotional water signs, which also tie closely to developments in the watery Strait of Hormuz. On a brighter note, we might see smoother travel and communication—Mercury rules local movement, while Jupiter governs foreign matters. (I’m trying to be a Pisces optimist here.)

By Sunday, April 5th, I’d expect war-related developments to reach a critical pivot point as the Sun in Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer at 6:23 p.m. Leaders as denoted by the Sun may feel pushed into making major decisions involving foreign affairs as overseen by Jupiter. Coincidentally, April 5th–6th aligns closely with the deadline previously mentioned by President Donald Trump regarding Iran opening the Strait of Hormuz.

Since the Sun is associated with gold, and it is squaring expansive Jupiter, there’s a strong chance gold tests a major support or resistance level late this week or early next.

Now let’s layer in the Moon transits. Keep in mind, silver is associated with the Moon.

During U.S. market hours on Monday, March 30th, and Tuesday, March 31st, the Moon is in Virgo—an analytical, critical zodiac sign.

On Tuesday at 9:20 a.m., the Moon opposes Mars in Pisces, suggesting emotional tension tied to war—generally unfavorable for investors from late Monday into early Tuesday. However, later Tuesday at 8:31 p.m., the Moon trines Uranus in Taurus, pointing to a possible bounce in cryptocurrencies and perhaps also tech stocks. Surprise moves of some kind on Tuesday are entirely plausible under this setup, including for silver.

On Wednesday, April 1st—yes, April Fool’s Day—the Moon moves through Libra, opposing Neptune, Saturn, and the Sun (a classic Full Moon setup). The tone feels serious, even heavy, which fits the broader geopolitical climate. This Full Moon occurs at 10:12 p.m. Both silver and gold are spotlighted as the Moon opposes the Sun respectively.

A crescendo for Oil is also favored late Tuesday into early Wednesday with the 3:00 a.m. Moon–Neptune opposition. A culmination or new break out beginning is possible for oil and these metals now. Full moons heighten emotions, ocean tides, and perhaps oil prices this month.

It seems rather ironic the major religious observance of Passover begins at sundown on Wednesday coinciding with this sensitive and usually cooperative Libra-spiced Full Moon.

On Thursday, April 2nd, the Libra Moon squares Jupiter exact at 4:55 a.m., potentially foreshadowing the upcoming Sun–Jupiter square on Easter Sunday. This could mark a key test of support or resistance for silver, especially on late Wednesday into early Thursday.

Markets remain closed Friday for Good Friday. That morning at 8:11 a.m., the Moon enters Scorpio, where it stays until Sunday, April 5th at 7:31 p.m., when it moves into fiery and active Sagittarius.

Saturday, April 4th, looks like a day to process the week’s events with deeper emotional clarity. The Moon in Scorpio forms a flowing trine to Jupiter in Cancer and Mercury in Pisces, supporting open, honest communications.

By Sunday, April 5th—Easter—an emotional shock seems probable as the Moon in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus exact at 5:29 p.m. This likely adds stress to cryptocurrencies and the tech sector. Coinciding with the Sun square Jupiter, a big shake up is conceivable.

Notice on the LUNA Astrology chart for Sunday around 4:00 p.m., the Lot of Fortune conjoins the Sun amplifying a trigger for momentous events driven by leaders that are beyond our control. People are indeed always the variable.

Welcome to Aries season with the Sun now in this active and fiery zodiac sign. Including Eris and Chiron, there are six planetary bodies in Aries. Since Aries is guided by warring Mars, this sadly implies the war in Iran won’t be over just yet. (In April there’s a pile up of eight planets plus Chiron in Aries including a New Moon.)

I’ve added relevant dwarf planet Eris to the LUNA astrology charts. Eris symbolizes discord and is the sister planet to Mars, known for war. Eris is currently conjoined Chiron, the Centaur representing wounds that need healing and accountability. This week Venus (money) will be conjunct both these bodies suggesting financial wounds, continued discord. Unfortunately, this combo is not a good omen for markets. Note: Venus corresponds with the metal Copper and may mirror the above transit.

Other perhaps even more important transits are the Sun in a waning conjunction to Neptune and applying conjunction to Saturn exact on Wednesday at 4:55 a.m. Neptune’s influence is idealistic but confused, uncertain and lacking clarity. Saturn is restriction, limitations and life lessons.

The Sun acts like a catalyst, shining a spotlight and triggering these planetary allegories. Generally, Sun conjunct Saturn brings a sense of serious and solemn sentiment for everyone including investors and traders. It’s considered a reality check. Our structures and government are highlighted. The Sun is associated with Gold, and also signifies leaders, so we should expect weighty actions regarding these this week.

The Sun is also in a 60° “opportunity” sextile to Pluto all week, implying potential leadership power plays and struggles, especially as related to war since the Sun is in warrior zodiac sign Aries. This alignment is exact on Wednesday at 2:16 p.m.

Additionally for our second luminary, the Moon is out of bounds Monday to Thursday, so we’ll all be extra emotional most of this duration. In metals, the Moon oversees Silver. For U.S. market open hours and traders to gauge timing, the sensitive undertones are as follows:

Monday, March 23rd to Tuesday, March 24th:

Moon in Gemini infers changeable, flexible vibes that could be unstable most notably during Monday night and early Tuesday pre-market trading hours due to the Moon square Mars in Pisces. Related Gemini sectors are Communications, Transportation, and AI.

Wednesday, March 25th through early Friday, March 27th:

Moon in Cancer is at home and exceptionally strong here, emphasizing protection and security. Wednesday has three Moon squares to Neptune, Saturn and the Sun implying stress and a test of resistance levels, particularly for Silver (and Gold). Late night Wednesday into Thursday exaggeration is plausible as the Moon conjoins Jupiter exact on Thursday at 8:58 a.m. Cancer rules home, family, food, and Real Estate.

Friday, March 27th:

The Moon enters Leo at 10:10 a.m. further spotlighting leaders and their actions. Also, the metal Gold since Leo is guided by the Sun. The Moon makes harmonious flowing trines to Neptune, Saturn and the Sun this afternoon and evening. However, the Moon opposes Pluto in Aquarius exact at 7:12 p.m. signifying tense and/or unpredictable power plays that can dominate the day’s other beneficial alignments.

Sectors associated with Leo include Entertainment, Amusements, Gambling, Speculation, Solar Energy and Children’s Goods.

One final astrological acknowledgement that may override the shorter term transits this week is the long-term alignment of Saturn sextile Pluto which is exact on Saturday, March 28th at 6:13 p.m. Astrologers including legendary Louise McWhirter normally consider this a favorable influence, including for markets. I’d say that’s true were it not for Saturn conjunct Neptune in war-like Aries being a pivotal sky setup.

Of all the Ptolemaic aspects, the sextile is by far the weakest. It’s less dynamic and offers only potential opportunity. In financial astrology, I’ve found the planets speaking together in a pattern configuration is more significant than the type of aspect alignment involved. With that in mind, Saturn and Pluto are both malefic (malicious) planets. Again, these two together aren’t necessarily encouraging indicators for a bullish week of trading merely because they’re in a 60° sextile.

I’ll repeat this Lost TV show mantra as it always applies where astrology and investing are concerned: “People are the variable.” It only takes one person or leader to rattle local, national, or global news and/or financial markets and supersede astrological indicators.

This week I’m choosing SZA’s vibey song “Saturn” since the Sun conjoins Saturn on Wednesday, March 25 at 4:55 a.m. and then Saturn makes an opportunity sextile to Pluto on Saturday, March 28th. This week brings a rare cluster of astrological signals—including Mercury turning direct, a Pisces New Moon, and the Sun entering Aries—suggesting a potential pivot point for markets and global events.

Market Sentiment Shifts

Last Monday on March 9th, markets looked promising after President Trump suggested during a phone interview with CBS News that the war with Iran was nearly finished. He said, “I think the war is very complete, pretty much.”

We saw all three U.S. indexes immediately reverse course for a sizable bounce following that news. This is a perfect example of why I always say people are the variable. Where investor sentiment is concerned, it often only takes one person in a leadership position to fuel a change.

Astrologically, Mars conjunct the North Node—also square to Uranus in the USA Sibly inception chart—indicated that uncertainty and war would likely increase rather than decrease throughout most of last week. Unfortunately this held true.

Mercury Stations Direct

Almost this whole week planet Mercury stations at 8° Pisces before turning direct on Friday, March 20th at 3:33 p.m.

In a rare and unusual pairing, Mercury will also be conjunct the North Node at the same degree throughout this phase.

This suggests that issues involving news communications, trade, commerce, and transportation will take precedence and remain paramount all week long.

Since Mercury and the North Node are both in water sign Pisces, news probably coincides with water-related matters such as the Strait of Hormuz, and Crude Oil as this is associated with Pisces and Neptune. The North Node represents an increase, so this pattern suggests Crude Oil prices could rise higher this week.

At the very least, traders and investors will want to stay closely tuned to the news for any important developments and announcements that can radically sway investment behavior.

The Pisces New Moon

Another key transit is the New Moon on Wednesday at 9:23 p.m., which suggests new beginnings for the month ahead.

This Pisces New Moon also forms a sextile to Uranus, which could potentially favor cryptocurrencies or other surprising market moves. Undoubtedly it signals we should expect the unexpected during this upcoming month cycle.

The Spring Equinox Turning Point

On Friday, March 20th, in addition to Mercury turning direct, the Sun enters Aries at 10:46 a.m. This marks the astrological New Year and the spring equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. It’s considered a major seasonal turning point—one that legendary W.D. Gann frequently used to forecast the coming six months or year ahead.

With that in mind, I find it very telling that the Sun will conjoin Neptune exactly on Sunday, March 22nd at 7:18 a.m.

Since Neptune rules oil, natural gas, water, and all liquids, this alignment could indicate that these commodities dominate our attention over the next six months. Note: Neptune inspires boundless ideals and dreams – quite the opposite of grounded logic.

Within a 48-hour window, the New Moon, Mercury turning direct, and the Sun entering Aries all occur together. This suggests the beginning of an ending—or an important pivot point and shift of energy.

Central Bank Announcements

Three additional planetary alignments occur this week. Venus in Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer at 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th. That same day, the Sun in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday is also when Federal Reserve Chairman Powell will announce whether there are any interest rate cuts or increases.

The Venus 90° angle square to Jupiter suggests that money and finances are being challenged to expand. This could be seen as a test (resistance versus support) not only for the Fed, but also for the banking and real estate sectors.

Since the Sun is sextile Uranus, it also hints that leaders might make at least one surprise announcement. Along with the FOMC meeting, rate announcements are also expected from the Bank of Japan, the Bank of England, and the ECB.

Cryptocurrencies, technology including AI, and other innovation sectors and stocks can see a few shocks when Uranus feels the Sun’s heat in an opportunity-driven sextile. Perhaps a big bounce or drop as Uranus is unpredictable at best.

Watching the News

Currently the tone of the market appears heavily dependent on what happens with Iran, Israel, the United States and the Middle East—certainly even more than what astrology alone indicates. Investors are trading based on headline news. Asset fundamentals have taken a backseat during this war story.

The best lesson astrology offers for investors and traders this week may simply be to stay closely tuned to news announcements, because media influence is especially strong while Mercury is conjunct the North Node. Additionally, transportation and trade issues as mentioned earlier can be amplified.

Were it not for the current war, under normal conditions, I’d interpret a Mercury-North Node pairing as bullish, albeit not usually in Pisces, which fosters uncertainty, confusion and deception.

The Pisces–Virgo nodal axis cycle is nearing completion, an added reason why this week feels like the beginning of an ending. Another reason is that the New Moon occurs in Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac.

A Symbolic Degree

One final thought about Mercury conjunct the North Node at 8° Pisces comes from the symbolism of this degree, as written by the ancient astrologer and psychic Charubel: “An old man with a pack upon his back and a long staff in his hand walking down a hill — Degree of Pilgrimage:

This indicates one whose fortunes are likely to prove very remarkable. Estranged at an early age from his kindred, he will follow an adventurous path and his livelihood may remain uncertain and precarious. He may roam into distant countries and experience many hardships, sustaining his fate with quiet resignation and unusual strength of spirit. Though he may attain distinction, reversals are likely, and in the end he will carry his burdens downhill toward the grave. In some special way he will prove himself to be a man of singular character and remarkable powers.”

That’s quite an analogy to ponder during these troubled times.

Final Thoughts

With so many planetary shifts occurring within a short 48-hour window, this week appears less like ordinary market movement and more like a true turning point. The coming days may reveal the first signs of a larger shift in trend.

Hello fellow IBC-ers,

One of the reasons my focus leans toward financial astrology rather than mundane astrology is because the former is something I can more easily navigate with some sense of personal self-control. I also don’t like to be a forecaster of such bad news.

That said, as war rages in the Middle East, here are some key takeaways mentioned in my H1 2026 Forecast Report:

“#3 NEW GROUND-BREAKING CYCLE TREND

Saturn conjoins Neptune at 0° Aries — February 20, 2026

This is a major reset that will have significant global ramifications. These two planets will be exactly conjunct on a cardinal world degree, which is also the very first degree of the zodiac. Essentially, we’ll witness a brand-new beginning of Saturnian structures and Neptunian dreams. As with all planetary cycles, there is both a light, positive side and a shadow or dark side.

Positive:
People will feel more emboldened, assertive, courageous, and confident to approach life from an independent, “me-first” attitude when it comes to structuring and envisioning their lives. We’ll think and act faster with more gumption, willing to take risks with little or no vacillation, unlike the influence Pisces typically brings.

Negative:
Fear and uncertainty are typical with this planetary pair. Further, consider that Aries is guided by Mars, the planet of war. Assertion can quickly become aggression or anger. A “me-first” attitude can also become selfish and inconsiderate of others. Resist the might-makes-right stance rather than add fuel to already inflamed situations.

History Rhymes

Neptune was also in Aries during the U.S. Civil War. A reminder to be forewarned: there are concurrent planetary cycles with Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini that have also coincided with past wars.

The important thing to consider with Saturn and Neptune in Aries is that Mars energy is strong. My biggest concern—especially since this conjunction occurs at the world axis degree of 0° Aries—is that it may initiate more issues surrounding global wars and widespread anger.

Remember: Mars is the planet of war. Think of the planets as characters in a play, with the zodiac signs acting as the clothes these characters wear.

Based on this knowledge, and depending on your personal values, areas of defense and national interests may become paramount in the coming years.

Saturn remains in Aries until April 13, 2028. Neptune, on the other hand, will stay in Aries much longer, until March 23, 2039. Warrior ideals!”

Let’s review and combine these basic symbolisms of astrology:

Saturn = government, structures, restriction, limitations

Neptune = ideals, visions, dissolving, deception, oil

Aries/Mars = daring, anger, action, warrior

0° Aries = the world point of beginnings and initiation

Sadly, the Tropical Western geocentric (earth-to-sky view) astrology fits all too well with our current war-time situation.

Looking Ahead to This Week

The overall theme this week remains war-related, as planet Mars moves closer to conjoin the North Node in Pisces.

What does this mean in simple terms?

Mars is associated with war, while the North Node represents an increase and our collective society’s future direction. Unfortunately, that direction does not appear very peaceful at present.

Ironically, Pisces is the sign of peace, however, also faith, spirituality, and religion. Years of Middle East religious-based conflicts is at the heart of the attack on Iran.

Mars is considered a malefic (malicious) planet in mundane astrology. Planetary symbolism is always stronger than the zodiac sign where it’s situated.

I should add that Mars conjunct the North or South Node is a pairing often seen during stock market crashes. Because Mars energy is heightened now, this may also represent a peak of this recent war outbreak.

The Mars–North Node conjunction becomes exact at 8°55′ Pisces on Friday the 13th, from 5:56 p.m. to 6:26 p.m.

Let’s hope that by Saturday this waning energy coincides with a reduction in violence.

Other Significant Transits This Week

Jupiter in Cancer turns direct on Tuesday, March 10th at 11:30 p.m. Jupiter corresponds to legal matters, foreign affairs, and banking—areas where large wealth is held. Its direct motion signals forward movement in these areas.

Mercury is also active this week, making a flowing 120° trine to Jupiter early Monday, March 9th at 1:23 a.m. This suggests an emotional time and perhaps cloudy or foggy communications related to Jupiter matters.

On Sunday, March 15th, Mercury conjoins Mars in Pisces, exact at 4:08 a.m. This could indicate significant news regarding the war. At the very least, our minds and communications will be focused on it.

Keep in mind that Mercury is still retrograde, making this a great time for reviewing, revising, renewing, and redoing. Initiating brand-new courses of action often doesn’t bring the original results desired when begun during a Mercury retrograde period. Trying to finalize outcomes is typically more challenging as well.

Venus in Aries will sextile Pluto in Aquarius, exact on Tuesday, March 10th at 2:52 a.m. This hints at issues involving money, power, and control—especially relating to debt and default. Historically, Venus alignments with Pluto have also coincided with stock market dips or crashes. In the most broad perspective, Venus is money and Pluto is death.

Moon Transits & Investor Emotion Spikes

As for daily Moon transits—which also influence investor emotions—this week the Moon is out of bounds Monday to Friday, implying heightened and extreme emotions during U.S. stock market trading hours.

Monday, March 9th:
The Moon in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus at 7:28 a.m., suggesting potential volatility, especially during early morning trading hours. By 11:37 a.m., the Moon enters Sagittarius and makes favorable trines to Neptune, Saturn, and Venus in Aries throughout the afternoon and evening.

However, the Moon in Sagittarius will square Mars in Pisces, exact at 11:37 p.m., so we may see mixed results for markets on Monday. That said, the Moon trine Neptune suggests oil prices and water- or liquid-related stocks may see a bounce.

Tuesday, March 10th:
The Moon in Sagittarius squares Mercury in Pisces, exact at 2:59 p.m. Often there is a reversal or trend change when the Moon in a mutable sign forms a hard aspect with another planet in mutable signs.

Wednesday, March 11th:
The Moon in Sagittarius squares the Sun in Pisces, exact at 5:38 a.m. This influence may be felt most strongly the day before (Tuesday), again suggesting a potential trend change on Tuesday. Otherwise, Wednesday’s planetary vibes are largely influenced by the approaching Mars–North Node conjunction.

Thursday, March 12th:
The Moon enters Capricorn at 12:07 a.m. and will square Neptune, Saturn, and Venus in Aries throughout the day, suggesting oil and natural gas prices may retreat.

Friday, March 13th:
The Moon in Capricorn opposes Jupiter in Cancer at 6:10 a.m., implying a culmination or stress for Jupiter-related areas mentioned earlier. Later, the Moon sextiles the Sun in Pisces at 10:41 p.m., which may help bring some positivity to the day and offset the Mars-North Node conjunction.

Saturday, March 14th:
The Moon in Capricorn trines Uranus in Taurus at 7:33 a.m., which could be bullish for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, especially during early Friday evening trading hours. At 11:13 a.m., the Moon enters Aquarius. Later that day and evening, the Moon sextiles Neptune and Saturn in Aries and conjoins Pluto in Aquarius.

With the Moon in Aquarius—ruled by Uranus—this could be a very volatile day, especially with the Moon conjunct Pluto. Think: power struggles and power plays. Oil and other commodities including Uranium may spike or plunge. Unpredictable Uranus equates to sudden shocks and surprise disruptions that strike like lightning bolts.

Sunday, March 15th:

FWIW during a confusing and uncertain Mercury retrograde phase, I’ll admit in advance how Mercury retrograde throws off my forecasting capabilities. No one is immune from this tricky time. Mercury was conjunct my natal Sun as it turned retrograde, and my personal life has been somewhat topsy-turvy ever since.

One lingering trend for the week is Ceres and Chiron traveling close together by conjunction in Aries. This suggests an overlap for a harvest time or cutting combined with the need for accountability and solving financial concerns. Indeed, much of February was bearish for U.S. indices coinciding with this combo.

International matters, wealth expansion, and legal issues may appear highlighted, at a standstill or inconclusive. Planet Jupiter, which oversees these life areas, is currently stationing at 15° Cancer getting ready to turn direct on March 10.

Four planets weave through Pisces this week, amplifying uncertainty. Additionally, the Nodes are stationing at 8° of the Pisces-Virgo Axis through March. This indicates further underlying issues spotlighted for sectors associated with Pisces and Virgo.

One example of current Nodal leanings: mounting job losses correspond to the South Node representing a release or decrease now in Virgo, symbolic of work, service, employees and employment.

Monday, March 2:
The start of the week has some stressful planetary alignments. At 3:36 a.m., the Moon in Leo will square Uranus in Taurus, and then at 7:27 a.m., the Moon opposes Mars in Aquarius. This is a T-square that suggests unexpected events relating to warlike actions and perhaps coincides with the current attack initiated by the U.S. and Israel on Iran.

At 9:16 a.m., Mars enters pacifist Pisces. It would be wonderful if this vibration helps move recent events toward a ceasefire. However, let’s not forget that Saturn is now conjunct Neptune in Aries (which is ruled by Mars), and those two outer planets carry more strategic, long-term ramifications regarding military actions.

The Moon is also in Virgo starting at 7:34 a.m. and will conjoin the South Node, which indicates a decrease or release. Based on these transits, the likely stock market potential seems more bearish than bullish.

Tuesday, March 3:
There’s a Lunar Eclipse (which is a full moon on steroids) at 12° Virgo early morning at 6:38 a.m. Usually, just before and during a full moon, we find extreme buying. So perhaps if Monday turns out to be bearish, bulls will rush to buy the dip early on Tuesday.

A lot of trading activity is suggested by the Moon opposing Mercury, which is exact at 7:39 p.m. The applying configuration of Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus suggests volatility, especially for technology-related stocks, including AI, and all cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Wednesday, March 4:
As Venus makes an exact sextile to Uranus at 11:41 a.m., some volatility will likely continue. The Moon enters Libra at 1:56 p.m., further accentuating Venus matters like finance, art, beauty and relationships.

Later that afternoon, at 4:08 p.m., the Moon will oppose Neptune in Aries, and at 6:01 p.m., the Moon opposes Saturn in Aries. Neptune implies hope mixed with uncertainty. Saturn is restrictive and somewhat depressive. Investor sentiment will likely reflect these dynamics.

Usually considered a major positive planetary alignment and maybe the best for the whole week is the upcoming Sun trine Jupiter.

Thursday, March 5:
The Sun in Pisces will trine Jupiter in Cancer, exact at 12:14 p.m. This is generally considered positive. However, water signs like Pisces and Cancer tend to be very emotional, as in big tears. So I would say this will be an extremely emotional time for investors and traders alike.

The Moon, still in Libra, will square Jupiter as well, exact at 6:22 p.m. There is a challenge for wealth expansion and relationship issues that must be addressed. Long-distance travel and international concerns are highlighted too.

Friday, March 6:
At 5:46 a.m., Venus enters Aries, igniting fiery passions within relationships and money matters. Perhaps we’ll see or hear some big news related to banking or government spending on the new Iran war on Friday.

Venus is about to merge with Neptune, while the Sun will hook up with Mercury. These transits indicate that there may be some uncertainty or fear when trading with the Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces. On the flip side, fiery and hopeful sparks should fly with Venus about to conjoin Neptune.

Since Venus corresponds to money and Neptune is associated with Oil, Natural Gas, and other liquids, we may also see oil prices fired up this week as well.

Saturday, March 7:
Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces is exact at 6:02 a.m., while Venus conjunct Neptune in Aries is exact at 6:27 a.m. As mentioned for Friday, these are both generally optimistic and bullish alignments.

I would say especially for Gold and any type of Sun-related stocks, such as solar power or entertainment, this energy may dominate. The Moon, now in Scorpio, will square Pluto in Aquarius, exact at 8:14 a.m. That’s a lot of Plutonic vigor since Pluto oversees the zodiac sign Scorpio. Again, this infers a test for the Energy sector and people playing power games.

There’s stress indicated here; however, Scorpio can be forceful and determined with great inner fortitude to cut through any distractions or confusion. That said, remember to keep trades short term because tomorrow…

Sunday, March 8:
CORRECTION: Venus conjunct Saturn in Aries is exact at 9:40 a.m. This tends to be a bearish type of alignment. Aside from that indicator, there’s positive energy coming from Mercury in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer, approaching exactness on Monday, March 9th at 1:23 a.m.

(P.S. Don’t trust ChatGPT to do spellchecks and grammar correctly when writing about astrology. Perhaps AI will want to blame Mercury retrograde too!)

The Moon, still in Scorpio, is making positive configurations with three trines: one to Jupiter, one to Mercury, and another to the Sun. This could be a positive day for shedding negativity, if it weren’t for Venus conjunct Saturn in Aries.

All these daily transits fit the general trend for a week of changeable shifts and confusion during this Mercury retrograde chapter. Quick thinking and taking things lightly, while also planning your days and activities carefully, is your best strategy this week. Double check all details (including AI outputs) to avoid costly errors.

If you’re able to participate in water activities—especially Wednesday to Thursday during the strongest Sun–Jupiter time window—you might find that particularly enjoyable and relaxing. Shower, bathe, Jacuzzi, dip in an ocean or lake, etc.

It looks like a stressful week coming up, with market mayhem abounding. There are two powerful astrological patterns that will be playing out all week long.

The first is Mars in Aquarius at a 90° square to Uranus in Taurus, which will be exact on Friday, February 27th at 11:21 a.m. Eastern Time.

This is a gnarly type of transit known for triggering major earthquakes and other kinds of natural disasters. Mars is the action planet of war. Uranus is the planet of sudden surprises and shocks. The “orb of influence” window for Mars is five (or sometimes more) days before an exact alignment.

Perhaps not by coincidence, this transit coincides with the current news of U.S. President Trump contemplating war with Iran. Oil prices could certainly be affected by this as well as Saturn which is now separating away from Neptune.

For investors, Mars is associated with Defense, Sports, Mining and Metals. Uranus corresponds to innovation, especially Technology, AI, Cryptocurrencies, Aviation, and Automotive sectors.

All these areas will probably be highly activated now with amplified volatility. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Gold, Silver, and Platinum will likely be tested for resistance and support levels. I suspect chop till you drop consolidation continues most of this week.

The second transit to impact this week is Mercury turning retrograde, exact early Thursday morning at 1:48 a.m. at 22° Pisces. Communications, trade, and commerce may feel like their doing back flips, particularly with U.S. tariff issues under review.

A Pisces influence tends to be indecisive, often shifting from euphoria or hope to fear. Therefore, this can be a very testy time for investors and markets with added mix-ups. Plan your trades with extra preparation and concentration.

When financial gurus and news media reporters talk about “uncertainty” you can bet Pisces or its modern ruling planet Neptune is prominently featured in the current geocosmic mix.

Mercury retrograde phases are typically best for rethinking, redoing, or revising rather than starting something entirely new. Tricky fake outs, false trends, and investor confusion lasts through Friday, March 20 when Mercury finally turns direct.

Especially this week, let’s hope that President Trump rethinks how he will proceed with Iran to avoid a devastating conflict. The world will no doubt be watching every move he makes.

Perhaps I’m being overly optimistic here, yet this week’s end potentially favors a better outcome when Mercury links to Venus, exact on Saturday at 12:35 a.m. Mercury oversees communications, and Venus represents relationships.

For money markets, Mercury rules trade and commerce, while Venus represents money. When Mercury and Venus make a conjunction their energies merge, so it’s usually bullish for markets.

Another positive influence toward the end of the work week is that Thursday, February 26th, the Sun in Pisces will conjoin the North Node at 8° Pisces. This Sun conjunct North Node occurrence is an indicator markets may reach or be near a top.

As for nuanced daily Moon analysis, the Moon remains out of bounds Monday through Friday during the trading week. Expect emotions to run high, especially from 12:11 a.m. Thursday through 3:16 a.m. Saturday while the Moon is in zodiac sign Cancer.

On Monday, the Moon in Taurus conjoins Uranus and will also square Mars. This suggests Monday will be extremely volatile, especially since the Mars–Uranus square is applying. These patterns often suggest strong bearish sentiment and outcomes.

By Tuesday, the Moon is in Gemini. The Moon will make a square to the Sun in Pisces at 7:28 a.m., and then the day goes silent for other exact aspects. Since the Moon and the Sun are in mutable signs, there’s a good likelihood that whatever transpired in the markets on Monday will be reversed on Tuesday. Mutable signs infer change and flexibility.

Wednesday markets may get a bit dicey as Mercury is now stationary and about to turn retrograde. The Moon, still in Gemini, infers potential for mixed results in the indexes since Gemini is a dualistic sign. Some stress is indicated in the afternoon trading hours because the Moon, approaching Cancer, will square Neptune and Saturn in the early morning hours of Thursday.

Although Thursday looks stressful very early in the morning, by the afternoon a Cancer Moon will make a nice trine to the Sun in Pisces. Later there’s an approaching conjunction of the Moon with Jupiter, often bullish albeit a Cancer vibe adds a concern for security and protection that may deter bulls and favor a bearish tone.

On Friday at 11:21 a.m., Mars makes the exact square to Uranus, and then finally this dynamic starts to dissipate. The Moon, still in Cancer, makes nice flowing trines to Venus and Mercury in Pisces.

Based on the astrology, Thursday and Friday look more favorable for markets than earlier in the week, although nothing is certain with Mars square Uranus. So much also depends on geopolitics and world news this week.

There’s potent aggressive/assertive energy with Mars at an angular square to Uranus. IMPORTANT: Please be very careful and mindful when driving or walking. Avoid rushing anything, physically or mentally, especially since Mercury also about to turn retrograde.

Saturday brings an opposition from the Moon, now in Leo, to Pluto in Aquarius. This can add a testy, confrontational force, especially for leaders versus collective groups. Otherwise, the rest of the weekend looks like a great time for creative projects, or simply going out socializing and having fun.

We’ll probably need some leisurely relaxation and regal rewards after what looks like a potentially stressful week.

As the above bi-wheel chart shows, the NYSE is poised for volatility this week. The black dots and line show how the Aquarius Solar Eclipse on the NYSE 9th house cusp is in an almost exact square alignment to the 11th house NYSE Sun. In addition, transiting Uranus at 27° Taurus is conjunct with the NYSE Sun. That factor has surely been influential throughout the start of 2026.

The purple dot shows Saturn conjunct Neptune now at 0° Aries in the NYSE 10th house. These are approaching the NYSE South Node at 2° Aries. These two planets together suggest dissolving structures, Here it refers to status and achievements of the NYSE 10th house being dissolved as another bearish indicator.

The blue dot in the 9th house area adds transiting Venus conjunct the North Node at 8° Pisces. The collective future direction (North Node) of money and finance (Venus) appears hopeful yet filled with uncertainty. The red dot highlights how transiting bounty planet Jupiter is conjoined with NYSE Chiron at 15° Cancer. This implies NYSE wealth expansion must now contend with a phase of accountability.

The regular daily LUNA astrology charts down below support the notion for bearish volatility this week. Monday, February 16th is a U.S. national holiday (President’s Day) so traditional markets are closed. The Aquarius Sun makes an exact square to Uranus in Taurus on Monday at 12:02 a.m. I see this as a testing time for cryptocurrencies and especially support or resistance for Bitcoin.

A positive vibe for Monday might be Mercury in Pisces in a flowing trine to Jupiter in Cancer. This may help offset the reality check and potential shocks from the Sun square Uranus. This square dynamism continues as the Moon follows the Sun to square Uranus exactly at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 17th.

The Solar Eclipse is exact on Tuesday at 7:01 a.m., setting up a launch portal for the next six months or more. The influence of a square to Uranus infers potent volatility is likely during the next six months.

On Wednesday, February 18th, the Sun enters Pisces at 10:52 a.m. This enhances collective feelings of uncertainty. The most recent FOMC meeting minutes released this day will surely influence investor sentiment. VIX options also expire, possibly adding even more volatility. However, the Moon in Pisces makes favorable conjunctions to Venus (exact at 3:02 a.m.) and Mercury (at 6:09 p.m.) along with a trine to Jupiter (at 1:31 p.m.) so investors may opt to float hope on Hump Day.

The Moon enters bold Aries Thursday, February 19th at 2:39 p.m. It’s fired up in conjunction with Saturn (at 3:48 p.m.) and Neptune (at 3:55 p.m.) In general, the Moon in Aries is considered bullish. Moving forward, Saturn and Neptune both now in Aries for a good long stay should help to add a more bullish investor sentiment during future monthly cycles when the Moon merges with Saturn and Neptune.

Volatility may not escape us Thursday since options expire on Friday, February 20th. Big moves may come as Saturn links to Neptune in their roughly 36-year return conjunction, exact on Friday at 11:53 a.m. For long term investing, I believe this rare pairing marks a low period for Oil and Natural Gas, because Saturn restricts and constrains, while Neptune is associated with these liquid energy commodities.

My thesis: Oil last peaked in April 2022 when the planet of expansion Jupiter conjoined Neptune. Saturn conjunct Neptune is a 100% contrast to that. The highest peak ever for Oil was in July 2008. A soon-to-be overlapping repeat cycle back then was the North Node in Aquarius. Another similar current cycle between now and then is Neptune sextile Pluto in Fire and Air signs.

One additional important point about Oil: higher oil and gasoline prices frequently lead to inflation, which is also connected to Neptune. Statistically, we’ve experienced inflation every time Neptune has been in a Fire sign, just as it is now in Aries. It’s a bit tame right now because Saturn is so close to Neptune and restricting inflation.

Saturn travels more quickly than Neptune. In 2026 there are only certain months we’ll plausibly see “creepflation” due to their retrogrades. However, by 2027, Saturn will move more than 10° beyond Neptune’s placement. I’m planning ahead for those rainy days.

Friday afternoon the Moon in Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer at 5:49 p.m. suggesting a test of resistance or support for markets. We’ll be feeling an upcoming trine between Venus and Jupiter, exact on Sunday, February 22 at 3:02 p.m. Weekend vibes look positive except for a Moon in Taurus square to Pluto in Aquarius on Sunday at 1:56 a.m.

A Calmer Week—But Emotions Still Run High

This week appears somewhat less volatile than the last few weeks, mainly due to reduced activity involving Uranus and other planets in Aquarius. That said, the Moon remains out of bounds all week, which means investor emotions are still running higher than normal.

Monday: Emotional Undercurrents Drive Volatility

On Monday, the Moon travels through Scorpio, squaring the Sun in Aquarius at 7:43 a.m. and forming an applying opposition to Uranus in Taurus at 9:16 p.m. This Moon–Uranus opposition also squares Venus, creating a T-square configuration.

While volatility may be lower than recent weeks, Monday still carries the potential for sharp moves—primarily driven by internal investor emotions rather than external news.

Tuesday: A Shift Toward Mutable Energy

Early Tuesday morning, the Moon enters Sagittarius at 2:22 a.m., followed by Venus entering Pisces at 5:19 a.m. This marks a shift away from fixed energy and into mutable signatures, often signaling changing trends for the day.

Venus in Pisces introduces uncertainty around money matters, though with less intensity than before. Pisces is a peace-loving and hopeful sign that can also struggle with decisiveness. As a result, investors and traders may waver on longer-term commitments.

The Moon also forms a 90° angle to both the North and South Nodes, creating another T-square. T-squares represent tension, but also talent—they often push us into action. Square aspects, in general, demand adjustment.

Wednesday: The Most Bullish Day of the Week?

Sagittarius is an active fire sign and typically leans bullish for markets. This influence benefits Tuesday night through Thursday, with Wednesday standing out as the smoothest day of the week.

Mercury is approaching a conjunction with the North Node, suggesting upward momentum and the potential for a market bounce on Wednesday into early Thursday morning.

Thursday: Sentiment Turns Heavier

On Thursday, the Moon in Sagittarius squares Saturn in Pisces at 2:29 p.m. Shortly afterward, the Moon enters Capricorn at 2:44 p.m. and then squares Neptune in Aries at 3:43 p.m.

This combination tends to weigh on sentiment and can bring increased stress or bearish pressure in the markets. Adding to the uncertainty, Mars forms a quincunx with Jupiter, potentially creating blind spots around expansion and risk-taking.

Friday: Saturn Takes Center Stage

Friday marks a major shift as Saturn enters Aries at 7:11 p.m. Saturn in a fire sign—especially action-oriented Aries—often supports forward momentum and decisive leadership initiative.

Later that evening, the Capricorn Moon opposes Jupiter in Cancer exactly at 10:28 p.m. on Friday the 13th. This may indicate a strong push toward expansion or a culmination of recent growth themes.

Meanwhile, the Sun is within 2° of squaring Uranus, an aspect that becomes exact at 12:02 a.m. on Monday, President’s Day, when markets are closed.

Bigger Picture: Rotation Beneath the Surface

From Monday through Thursday, a separate T-square forms with Jupiter opposite Juno, both squaring Ceres. This points to older, generational capital reaching a phase of harvesting and reallocation.

We’ve likely been seeing this play out through sector rotation—capital moving away from Technology and Bitcoin and toward areas such as:

• Commodities (Energy and Metals, especially Gold and Silver)

• Healthcare

• Consumer Staples

• Industrials

Market Context: Signs of a Turn?

Overall, this week astrologically appears more bullish than past month results. The final three weeks of January all ended negative for major indices. Last week, the first week of February, markets were mixed—the Dow finished higher, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ remained in the red.

This mixed behavior may signal that a short-term trend change is finally developing to the upside, even if only for a week or two. Notably, a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius arrives on February 17, adding another layer of anticipation and potential drama.

“Saturn” by Stevie Wonder

A fitting theme for the week ahead, Saturn’s entry into Aries amplifies Mars-related themes, including war, sports, metals, and needles or vaccinations. Saturn will remain in Aries until April 12, 2028.

This long-term transit calls for bold structural changes—but Saturn prefers patience and discipline. The challenge will be balancing decisive action with deliberate timing.

Final Thoughts

As Saturn enters Aries at zero degrees, it forms a powerful bond with Neptune, also at 0° Aries. This is a significant global signal—zero-degree alignments in Cardinal zodiac signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) often coincide with major resets on a worldwide scale.

0° Aries notes an entirely new beginning is dawning. Ultimately, this configuration points to the dissolution of outdated structures or dreams to make room for new ones. Saturn in Aries is guiding us to do the work and take charge. Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries is great for solopreneurs.

Saturn conjunct Neptune implies that Oil and Natural Gas are at or near a low point. Perhaps this would be a good time to look at adding these sector ETFs or specific stocks to your investment portfolio.

The seasonal Gaelic celebration of Imbolc occurs every February 1st or 2nd. Imbolc is the calendar midpoint between our northern winter solstice and spring equinox. Famous trader W.D. Gann considered seasonal markers like these as signals for trend reversals. We’re also coming off the February 1st Leo Full Moon, which corresponds to a diminishing phase.

Add to that Uranus about to switch course and turn direct on Tuesday, February 3rd, along with the Sun and Mars both within 30° of the North Node (you’ll want to read my prior post about this if you haven’t already). Plan for wacky markets to be the norm this week as “Aquarius season” remains ongoing. We begin with five planets plus asteroid Vesta (symbolizing investors and investments) in this zodiac sign.

There are numerous indicators highlighting another volatile week for investors due to a repeated theme of Uranus and Aquarius:

- Uranus stations at 27°28’ Taurus from January 30 until February 8-9

- Moon in Leo squares Uranus exact on Monday, February 2nd at 5:55 pm

- Uranus turns direct exact on Tuesday, February 3rd at 9:33 pm

- Moon in Virgo opposite Saturn in Pisces exact on Thursday, February 5th at 2:49 am

- Moon in Libra opposite Neptune in Aries exact on Thursday, February 5th at 5:02 am

- Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus exact on Thursday, February 5th at 7:14 am

- Moon in Libra trine the Sun in Aquarius exact on Friday, February 6th at 2:49 pm

- Mercury enters Pisces exact on Friday, February 6th at 5:48 pm

- Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus exact on Sunday, February 8th at 4:49 am

It’s important to remember: planetary energies of The Sun, Mercury and Venus are always influential before exact alignments occur – most often 24 to 48 hours before they’re exact by degree.

For Moon transits, I find a 12-hour waxing orbit window works well to time lunar dynamisms; sometimes more if the pairing is approaching a conjunction while in the same sign.

After the planetary alignments pass exactitude, their energies begin to dissipate, or wane, and the potency starts to weaken.

Starting from Mars and beyond, events can be triggered as early as 4-5 days before their positions to outer planets are exact by degree. For example, earthquakes often occur 4-5 days before an exact Mars-Uranus square or opposition.

Stationing planets and Lunar Nodes are considered a signal for us to sit up and take notice. Multiple hard configurations of 90° squares and 180° oppositions infer this week includes continual stress tests.

Traders and investors may become more unclear and fearful as the planet of trading, Mercury, first challenges Uranus and then enters Pisces. Money and relationship matters are stirred as Venus squares off with Uranus too. It appears we’re looking at a pivotal time for support and/or resistance based on squares from the planets of commerce and finance to Uranus.

Also noteworthy is how Venus in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus will align by “Mutual Reception” – a term astrologers use to describes how two planets are robustly aligned. They’re complementary, working together and often lean toward reciprocal role-play. (In this case, extreme volatility for financial matters is doubly implied.)

Yes, even metals dropped hard today as the above image shows. The U.S. Indexes aren’t doing much better.

And we certainly appear to be having a cold “Crypto Winter” as well.

So what is shaking the markets? Earnings news? Another potential government shutdown? President Trump announcing Kevin Warsh as his pick for next Federal Reserve Chairman?

I recognize this is where planetary trends can offer clues, so let’s have a look.

Factor one: Uranus started stationing today at 27°28’ Taurus before turning direct on February 3rd at this same exact degree and minute. Stations are powerful signal indicators. Uranus is influential for volatility and chaos. Uranus shakes things up. Uranus brings unpredictable surprises.

Factor two: Yesterday the Sun at 9° Aquarius reached a mathematical 30° proximity to the North Node at 9° Pisces. According to book author of “The Mars Hypothesis” we should plan on a market top once within this nodal area.

Factor three: In less than five days, Mars will also reach 9° Aquarius and be within a 30° proximity to the North Node at 9° Pisces. The same book author, Anthony of Boston, explains markets turn bearish whenever Mars is within a 30° orb window of either the North or South Node. Note: Mars is a catalyst and trigger planet usually activating events four or five days prior to the exact alignment.

This is the astrological “Rule of 3” playing out before our eyes. At the moment, the one commodity currently up in the green is Natural Gas. Let that be a future sign too. It’s something that makes sense based on geocosmic patterns as we get closer to Pisces seasonality.

We should expect another week of elevated market volatility on specific days, driven by several strong astrological alignments that historically correlate with shifts in investor sentiment and risk appetite.

On Monday, Neptune re-enters Aries at 12:37 p.m., marking a longer-term transition away from the uncertainty and lack of clarity associated with Pisces toward a more assertive, risk-oriented environment. From a market perspective, this shift often aligns with changes in narrative, leadership tone, and investor psychology.

Also on Monday, the Moon makes a 60° sextile to Jupiter, a generally supportive configuration for markets that can coincide with optimism and opportunity. However, this is occurring alongside the buildup to the Mars–Pluto conjunction in Aquarius, exact on Tuesday at 6:02 p.m., which is historically associated with sharp moves and heightened volatility.

On Tuesday, the Moon in Taurus conjoins Uranus at 11:43 a.m., a classic signature of sudden price swings and surprise developments. In addition, the Moon will be out-of-bounds from Tuesday through Friday, suggesting exaggerated emotional reactions and overreactions by market participants.

The Mars–Pluto conjunction in Aquarius is one of the most intense combinations for risk assets, often coinciding with power struggles, policy concerns, and abrupt shifts in positioning. Notably, this alignment occurs on the first day of the two January FOMC meetings, reinforcing the idea that markets are highly sensitive to Federal Reserve policy, independence, and the future path of interest rates.

Mars is the planet of war. Pluto rules destruction. This combo can be nasty. Both (as well as Saturn) are considered “malefic” aka malicious in Traditional Astrology texts. Mars triggers events as it rules actions. For Financial Astrology it’s associated with Miners, Sports, and Defense sectors. Pluto oversees all underground energy resources along with downgrades, deficits, debt, and defaults. Aquarius is often the wild rebel.

Expect highly charged rambunctious events, especially early in the week. By Wednesday, the peak intensity of the Mars–Pluto energy begins to fade, though its underhanded influence remains.

The Moon moves into Gemini and forms supportive trines to the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aquarius. These patterns combined often infer improved communication, better reception of news, and a more constructive market response. They suggest investors may react favorably to the FOMC outcome and to commentary from Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

Additionally, Mercury’s approaching conjunction with Venus in Aquarius—exact early Thursday—tends to support positive sentiment and risk-on positioning.

On Thursday, market tone may shift when changeable mutability rules. The Moon in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces at 2:57 p.m., a configuration that often corresponds with caution, disappointment, or a reality check.

After the market close, the Moon enters Cancer at 5:32 p.m. and shortly thereafter squares Neptune in Aries, increasing uncertainty and defensive behavior. From an astrological standpoint, Thursday appears to carry a bearish risk-off attitude.

On Friday, Mercury in Aquarius forms a 150° quincunx blind spot to Jupiter in Cancer. This alignment is typically constructive but imperfect, often reflecting optimism without full clarity. Markets may lean bullish, but with underlying uncertainty or incomplete information driving expectations.

Because Mercury has been traveling closely with Venus, the exact Venus–Jupiter quincunx occurs early Saturday morning at 4:39 a.m., though its influence is also felt on Friday. This reinforces a generally positive tone, but again with the risk of mispricing or overly optimistic assumptions.

Another notable factor on Friday is the Moon conjoining Jupiter in Cancer at 10:18 p.m. This can amplify extremes—either strong bullish expansion or heightened fear and a flight to safety. Coincidentally, this timing overlaps with a potential U.S. government shutdown deadline, which could further magnify market reactions depending on headlines.

Throughout the week, we’re building toward a Full Moon in Leo, exact on Sunday, February 1st, at 5:09 p.m. Full Moons often coincide with peaks, reversals, or inflection points. This Full Moon features multiple oppositions between Leo and Aquarius, suggesting heightened tension especially for the NASDAQ, technology sector, and cryptocurrencies.

As a result, Sunday into early next Monday February 2nd might mark a near-term exhaustion point for recent market trends.

While volatility risks remain elevated—with five planets plus goddess asteroid Vesta (symbolizing investors and investments) in Aquarius—the broader setup suggests we are approaching a transition phase of seasonality change that will take place when Mercury, Venus, the Sun and Mars move into Pisces uncertainty from February to March.

From a longer-term perspective, Neptune’s move into fiery zodiac sign Aries signals a gradual shift toward bold, action-oriented market themes and sector leadership narratives. I’m smiling at the obvious lip synching of this video. “Fire” by the Ohio Players seems to fit this week with the re-entry of Neptune in Aries. This blazing dynamic has been building big since last week. We’re ready to ignite sparks and shake things up with daring bravery. In contrast, let’s hope markets don’t also see the red that’s normally associated with Aries and Mars.

While thinking about how the price of Silver has skyrocketed, I pondered the popular old TV show The Lone Ranger and its opening message, “Hi-Yo, Silver, Away!” along with the “William Tell Overture Finale” theme composed by Gioachino Rossini.

I’ll sadly add how seeing gunshots and a masked man in this video is a disturbing reminder of what recently developed in Minneapolis, Minnesota when Renee Good was killed by ICE. Astrologically, it seems Mars opposite Jupiter amplified not only Silver but warrior gunfighting energies.

Silver has clearly been energized by the Sun, Venus, and Mars—all in Capricorn—each in opposition to Jupiter, the planet of expansion. It’ll be interesting to see what develops once these three personal planets move into Aquarius later this month. Will these oppositions lead to a top, or can Silver still keep flying higher to the Moon?

Since markets are closed on Monday, January 19th, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day it’s a shorter four-day trading week. First looking at the main planets, the Sun enters Aquarius at 8:45 p.m., followed by Venus conjoining Pluto in Aquarius at 11:04 p.m. on Monday. This suggests a strong shift in energy from organization and planning to innovation and surprise.

The next day, Tuesday, Mercury joins the party by entering Aquarius at 11:41 a.m. On Wednesday, the Sun conjoins Mercury at 10:49 a.m. I suspect this will be a very active trading day, albeit anxious. (See corresponding Moon transit below.)

On Thursday, January 22nd, Mercury conjoins Pluto at 12:15 p.m., which again should lead to extreme trading momentum. All week we’re gearing up for Mars to enter Aquarius at 4:17 a.m. on Friday the 23rd. Shortly after that, the Sun conjoins Pluto at 5:28 a.m.

Given all this fresh Aquarius energy, it seems likely that there will be high volatility in the U.S. markets this week. There’s a major shift from steady and conservative Capricorn vibes to revolutionary and innovative Aquarian spirits. Huge breakouts or breakdowns are plausible as this week unfolds.

It’s anyone’s guess which direction markets will go, since Aquarius is ruled by Uranus—the planet of unpredictability, sudden surprises and upsets. It may help to also look at Moon transits for added nuance and better forecasting.

Interestingly, on Monday, January 19th, there are no exact aspects from the Moon to any planets, though this doesn’t matter much for investors and traders since markets are closed.

On Tuesday, January 20th, the Moon is in Aquarius throughout the trading day and will square Uranus in Taurus at 9:16 p.m. This exact aspect suggests extreme volatility and tense stress for investors and traders during trading on Tuesday. Square (90°) aspects tend to be bearish, especially when involving Uranus.

By Wednesday, January 21st, the Moon enters Pisces, bringing a hope yet uncertainty, typical of Pisces energy. Secondly, the Moon also conjoins the North Node, suggesting forward movement and a future-oriented push toward the upside. Thirdly, the Moon is applying toward an easy, flowing trine to Jupiter in Cancer exact on Thursday at 11:41 a.m. These latter two alignments are typically optimistic and positive.

Continuing with Wednesday, along with the Sun conjoining Mercury and Moon applying to Jupiter, Venus is also conjunct asteroid Vesta. Vesta represents investors, investing and investments. Taken altogether, these three planetary pairings suggest that Wednesday—relative to the rest of the week—could bring a sense of pure bullish optimism.

The Moon enters Aries at 8:26 a.m. on Friday, January 23rd, and forms multiple opportunity-driven sextiles to various planets throughout the day, which also appears supportive. In almost rapid-fire, the Moon sextiles Mars, Pluto, the Sun, Mercury and Venus from day to night.

Adding Mars entering Aquarius and the Sun conjoining Pluto on Friday, this looks very fiery with potential explosions. Forecasting daily market activity is a rare art, and there are no guarantees. The best we can do is observe the patterns and follow what planetary cycles suggest based on experience and history.

Geopolitical surprises will quite likely play a major role in market behavior this week. The strong Aquarius influence brings rebellious and disruptive vigor, making market predictions more challenging than usual.

What may ultimately prove most influential this week could be astrological transits unfolding next week, beginning January 26th when Neptune re-enters Aries and Mars links to Pluto.

Prepare for potentially explosive and dramatic developments into next week, which appears just as volatile as this one—if not more so.

H1 2026 Investment Trends Report

Note: all times Eastern. Don’t forget to check the week’s dailies astrology glyph symbols charts at the bottom of this post.

This week has some riveting planetary patterns. Let’s quickly review last week for the notable Sun-Venus-Mars conjunction. This triple threat has twice been an important precursor signifying a bearish downturn in the not-too-distant future.

The last two times the Sun, Venus and Mars simultaneously conjoined was August 24, 1987 and October 25, 2006. Fittingly, this triple conjunction of the Sun with Venus and Mars is considered combust. Whenever a planet transits within eight degrees of the Sun, it’s called “combust.” It appears as Venus and Mars conjoined with the Sun we saw quite a combustible setup. Consider yourself forewarned about this pattern’s bearish undertones.

By Monday January 12th, this triple conjunction remains in opposition to Jupiter. I interpret this opposition as a symbolic cycle of completion. As these planets all start to separate their impact is somewhat reduced. And yet, this special combo is still an important influence.

Acclaimed astrologer Rick Levine has stated this unique sky set up can make things feel “overblown.” I 100% agree with that description. That’s why I can’t help but wonder if markets are now at or near a top or tipping point. The cosmos reflects life at a much deeper and intangible level than humans can often understand.

With intense and multiple recent geopolitical and national events, we haven’t heard much from traditional media about the AI Bubble during this past week. I suspect that will change soon based on upcoming transits. Subscribers: stay tuned for more on those delineations, which are also mentioned in the H1 2026 Forecast Report.

Perhaps equally influential this week will be the planet of trade and commerce Mercury applying to oppose Jupiter. Mercury also oversees media. While in contrast to Jupiter, which oversees central banking, law and foreign lands, this alignment suggests a strong potential for related significant news about these life areas.

During this week, Mars, Mercury, Venus and the Sun will form a 90° square angle to Chiron stressing accountability. We’ve seen at a mundane geopolitical level; accountability is being demanded by the global public. Investors are seeking the same with their investments as fundamental stock valuations are starting to matter more.

On Monday there’s also a short triangle shape aka a Minor Grand Trine. This pattern may counter some of the above stress and be helpful in lifting market indexes and stocks. Therefore, Monday trading may result in some divergence. I detect no clear-cut direction for investors based on the planetary patterns.

Tuesday January 13th gets even more interesting. There’s a Cradle pattern with the Moon opposite Uranus producing the flat top level touching other planets within this pattern. These include Saturn conjunct Neptune and the triple conjunction of the Sun Venus and Mars.

This Cradle configuration looks especially volatile since the Moon opposite Uranus are in financial zodiac signs Scorpio and Taurus respectively. Astrologers call Uranus the planet of disruptive surprise shocks, while the Moon represents public and investor sentiment. I expect high volatility on Tuesday. Note: Uranus is unpredictable. We never know for sure trading will be bullish or bearish. Simply expect extreme momentum either way and plan your trades accordingly.

Wednesday January 14th looks more subdued astrologically. The Minor Grand Trine lines thicken as we can see in the images below. This infers some bullish sentiment. On the flip side, the Moon will have moved into Sagittarius to square the Nodes. These are all in mutable signs suggesting a potential reversal from whatever transpired on Tuesday. Mutable zodiac signs often result in switches and reversals.

Notice Mercury is now moving so fast that by the end of Wednesday it will start separating from the Jupiter opposition. Perhaps that will provide completion of some stress relief for traders.

As the Minor Grand Trine begins to strengthen towards the end of the week on Thursday and Friday January 15th and 16th, we might see additional volatility because the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus are in a flowing 120° trine alignment to Uranus.

Astrologers often say trine lines are beneficial, yet with financial astrology that isn’t always the case. Sometimes it just means those planetary energies are in easy flow. For example, this week Venus (money) is in easy flow to Uranus (shocks, disruptions).

It’s essential to analyze the whole sky rather than favor one specific alignment. On Thursday afternoon, the Moon in Sagittarius is forming a challenging square to both Saturn and Neptune. These transits may negate benefits from a Venus-Uranus trine.

Uranus-ruled sectors which include technology, AI and cryptocurrencies along with quite a few others will be heavily influenced towards the end of the week. All these related sectors are explained in my H1 2026 Market Trends Forecast Report.

H1 2026 Investment Trends Report

Astrology aside, options expire on Friday, January 16th. As I’ve mentioned before, markets are often quite volatile the day of or before monthly options expiration dates.

This week is leading up to an exact 60° sextile alignment between outer planets Saturn and Uranus. Generally, this is considered an opportunity type configuration, however without any guarantees. According to astrologer Louise McWhirter, it’s a bullish secondary factor. I also think this long-term transit has greatly helped to prop up markets over the past year.

Another move likely adding more volatility to this and/or next week is Venus entering rebel zodiac sign Aquarius on Saturday January 17th at 7:43 a.m. Aquarius is freedom loving; associated with Uranus in modern astrology. Mercury will conjoin Mars early Sunday January 18th exact at 2:40 a.m. Watch out for warring words. Then on Sunday afternoon there’s a New Moon exact at 2:52 p.m.

The header image atop this post shows the January 18th New Moon at 28° Capricorn. New Moons symbolize a fresh starting monthly cycle. This one looks deceptively pivotal. It occurs within 5° of Venus, Pluto and Vesta at 1° or 3° Aquarius respectively. In financial astrology, Venus = money; Pluto = underworld power, underground energy, financial resources, plus debt, deficits, downgrades, and defaults; Vesta = investors and investments. These are inferred themes to be spotlighted for the upcoming month. Capricorn relates to Saturn and government structures.

The above image also shows this Capricorn New Moon in relationship (aka synastry) to the USA Sibly inception chart (inner wheel). Notice how the USA natal Pluto at 27° Capricorn (blue dot) is sandwiched by degree between this New Moon at 28° Capricorn (black dot) and Mercury conjunct Mars at 26° Capricorn (red dot).

This New Moon looks very important for the U.S. especially where power and control Pluto) are concerned. There’s an infusion of energy between Pluto, the Moon (public sentiment), the Sun (leaders), Mercury (trade, commerce, news), and lastly Mars (war, aggression, action).

Based on these combined transits, I think we’re heading into transformative time. (That’s putting it nicely.) Keep in mind planet Venus entering Aquarius on Saturday soon links to Pluto on Monday, January 19th. Perhaps lucky for investors, that’s a federal holiday and markets are closed. Venus conjunct Pluto is typically bearish and was actively influential on Black Monday, October 19, 1987.

I expect increased volatility as these four personal planets (Venus, Sun, Mars, Mercury) form their conjunctions to merge with Pluto. It’s very plausible geopolitics will play a larger role in near term outcomes for investors. Again, technology, AI, cryptocurrencies and underground energy resources, may be the most dynamic plays.

This week’s song spotlight is VENUS, as the benefic (beneficial) planet of finance enters rebel Aquarius on Saturday, January 17th. Written by Robbie van Leeuwen, guitarist and songwriter for the band Shocking Blue, this song was originally released in 1969 and later covered by Bananarama in 1986. I chose this video which seems most appropriate as Venus in Aquarius is about to connect with Pluto, mythological Lord of the Underworld.

H1 2026 STOCK MARKET FORECAST REPORT

Happy 2026! Last week proved to be very stressful for investors. This was largely influenced by the triple threat of Mercury in Sagittarius making stressful squares and a confusing quincunx alignment to Saturn, Neptune and Uranus, respectively. Will we see a temporary top or plateau for Silver based on the full moon in Cancer? We’ll learn soon enough.

In addition to astrological indicators, the fact that we did not have an optimistic Santa Claus rally at the end of 2025 and into January 2026 should be a signal for investors. This year may be more bearish than we would prefer.

IMHO, the first full trading week of January looks mostly bullish based on the astrology. On Monday, January 5th, the Moon is in fire sign Leo which suggests zest and fiery positivity.

Early morning at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, January 6th, the Moon still in Leo will square Uranus in Taurus. We may see some volatility during Monday overnight trading early morning Tuesday due to this setup, especially for technology stocks and cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. Sectors associated with Uranus are likely areas for upsets or adjustments.

What I really like about Tuesday is how the Sun will conjoin Venus exact at 11:36 a.m. This is a very confident pairing for taking care of business. Noting a slight sentiment shift, the Moon enters Virgo shortly following this conjunction at 11:57 a.m.

Usually Virgo is rather nit-picky, critical, yet also very discerning. Virgo energy seeks details and logic. The good thing about Wednesday, January 7th is that the Moon in Virgo will make trine alignments to all the personal planets in this order: Mercury, Sun, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn.

Also on Wednesday, Venus will conjoin Mars exact at 9:43 p.m. From a financial perspective, this week long applying triple conjunction of Sun–Venus–Mars in Capricorn implies increased activity and a potential bounce for Gold, Miners, Defense and Sports stocks.

On a mundane level, let’s keep in mind that the Sun represents leaders, Venus guides relationships, and Mars symbolizes war. There may be some strong-arm tactics and geopolitical stirrings with this planetary configuration combo. A recent example of this is President Trump’s calculated capture of Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro. While all in Capricorn, practical and determined government efforts and business structures are very much part of the scenario.

Note: planets applying (getting ready) to make a conjunction, square or opposition alignment are equally as potent as when they meet by exact degree and minute. Sometimes even more so. This orbit window is often anywhere from one to five degrees before reaching a 0° separation.

The Thursday January 8th image below shows a clear Kite pattern at the time U.S. markets close, with a discerning Virgo Moon at the bottom apex. The Sun conjunct Mars at 18° Capricorn insists on pushing ahead, however Virgo opposite Saturn and Neptune suggests emotional uncertainty, fear and resistance. I suspect Thursday may be a downer for markets if this confused sentiment holds sway.

On Friday January 9th, the Sun makes its exact conjunction to Mars at 6:41 a.m. That afternoon, Venus will exactly oppose Jupiter at 12:35 p.m. Following these, on Saturday January 10th, the both the Sun and Mars will be exactly opposite Jupiter in the morning hours.

This transit of the Sun, Venus and Mars conjoined while also opposite Jupiter suggests to me there may be a temporary plateau or market top at hand. We may be entering a digesting phase when markets move sideways and start to consolidate for a bit.

There’s still some room for growth, although this triple opposition to Jupiter infers that there may be some exaggeration afoot. With Jupiter in Cancer, security and protection are paramount. Another thing about the sign of Cancer is that it’s associated with Real Estate, home goods and family.

We’ll need to keep a close eye on this upcoming weekend. The Sun, Venus and Mars opposite Jupiter may signify earnings and credit are about maxed out now. This could be a pivot point before new planetary influences start to make themselves known later this month. I’ll write more about that in upcoming posts. Subscribe so you’re notified.

This week there’s no strong trend from outer planet transits adding weight compared to the infusion of personal planets. Notice in the Saturday chart below there’s a Grand Cardinal Cross (the big red square). In addition to the Sun, Venus and Mars opposite Jupiter, this Grand Cardinal Cross includes the Moon in Libra and Chiron in Aries.

The weekend looks like a big stress test for investors as well as people and citizens in general. In mundane astrology, the Moon denotes the public. Chiron relates to our wounds, plus accountability in financial astrology. I think investors have already become more concerned with stretched valuations as we start 2026.

The Dow, S&P 500 and NASDAQ Indexes ended slightly down last Friday, December 26, 2025, spoiling an official Santa Claus Rally. That’s a potential warning for U.S. markets in 2026. Bullish investor sentiment may be waning. I’m sharing the link below for more data deets.

As we wind down the year and enter a new one, there’s a stellium (3+ similar grouping) of personal planets in Capricorn. The Sun, Venus, Mars plus asteroid goddess of mature money/commitment Juno, and asteroid Vesta representing home, hearth and investors are currently in Capricorn.

As of Thursday, New Year’s Day at 4:11 p.m. Eastern, Mercury joins all these others in Capricorn. This is without doubt highly motivating energy for initiating productive business-like types of activities. This Capricorn setup dominates the week. It’s excellent for planning and organizing your year ahead with a grounded, hardworking and practical attitude.

It’s also notable how Mercury, Venus and Mars are all out of bounds this week. This gives those planets added power to break out of their normal ho-hum or bah humbug stance. Uncharted extremes are tested. Mercury will want to communicate more and do more mindful thought work. Venus will strive harder to attract added financial value and love. Mars gives greater impetus to act. These undercurrents are amplified at the weekend (read why below).

I suspect if only based on the above this should be a great week for investors and traders and suggests more bullish stock markets that really don’t want to retreat. I think if indices decline it’s because so many institutional and retail investors prefer to take profits as 2025 ends.

Other potential snafus for a bullish trend apply. Planet of trade and commerce Mercury will make three alignments this week that may prove a bit befuddling, giving us pause or apprehension. Will these Mercury transits be strong enough to outweigh the big push from such a serious Capricorn stellium? That is the question.

There’s a tense 90° square angle between Mercury and Saturn mostly influencing Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Usually this signifies a reality check with a somewhat somber vibe.

Monday’s and Tuesday’s saving grace might be the Moon in money-focused zodiac sign Taurus. The Moon makes mostly favorable flowing alignments to five out of six planets. This suggests that although a stress test is involved for markets or our plans, Capricorn drive and initiative can supersede. Diligence helps us rise above.

On Wednesday and into Thursday, Mercury will quincunx Uranus and then square Neptune. This implies some blind spots we’re not seeing clearly, and/or that we’re wearing rose-colored glasses when it comes to our endeavors or investments. These two configurations tend to create a feeling of uneasiness yet are more often hopeful and optimistic rather than bearish.

Astrology aside, one important financial event is that quarterly options expire on Wednesday, December 31st. There could be some volatility coinciding the day before or on New Year’s Eve because of that regular calendar event. The Moon will conjoin Uranus early on Wednesday exact at 4:56 a.m. Eastern.

Reminder: transits to or from Uranus are frequent catalysts triggering sudden market shocks, breakouts or break downs, especially for associated investment sectors like technology and aerospace stocks, AI, robotics and cryptocurrencies.

U.S. markets are closed on New Year’s Day. As Mercury enters 0° Capricorn January 1st, it’s at a world point degree. Therefore, watch for big media news announcements stretching the globe on this day. Perhaps something to do with the Federal Reserve, inflation or upcoming interest rate cuts will arise since celestial accountant Chiron turns direct on Friday January 2nd. (Chiron is a secondary factor associated with inflation cycles.)

Friday looks like a dynamic trading day, just before a Full Moon in Cancer exact on Saturday, January 3rd at 5:03 a.m. Eastern. Expect people to be more emotional than usual with the Full Moon in its relative sign, opposing not only the Sun but out of bounds Venus, Mars and Mercury too. Later Saturday, the Moon conjoins generous Jupiter which has been touring through Cancer since June 2025.

An added special mention for investors is that both zodiac sign Cancer and the Moon are associated with the metal Silver. With so much push–pull emphasis, dramatic moves could occur with Silver. Feasibly a culmination or climax of sorts, albeit likely temporary. The meteoric rise of Silver may see a plateau shortly after this time.

Full moons in general often indicate a top or peak for monthly Moon cycles.

The Moon and zodiac sign Cancer are also connected to real estate. Maybe we’ll get year-end news having to do with home building or buying from Zillow, Redfin, or corporations in this sector. I suspect the Capricorn stellium mentioned above will put added pressure on interests related to Silver, home, family, food and real estate.

Outer planets Saturn and Uranus are still traveling in an opportunity sextile suggesting Bulls ultimately want their way. Asteroid Vesta is part of a harmonious Mini–Grand Trine pattern to Saturn and Uranus. This secondary pattern is beneficial for lifting overall investor sentiment.

However, Vesta (investors) opposes Jupiter (wealth, expansion) and both square Chiron (accountability, resolution) from Monday through Friday. This “T-square” configuration seems like a subtle geocosmic signal. Investors may have reached their limits or tolerance for exaggerated overvalued stocks. Many institutional financial investment gurus are expecting a pullback or correction soon. (I am too as my H1 2026 Forecast Trends Report explains in detail.)

There’s a lot of initiative for taking actions this week with the Sun newly in Capricorn inching its way to merge with Mars soon. It may feel like a fast-paced slow dance. The song theme of the week resembles, “Takin’ Care of Business” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

The Sun conjoining Mars suggests Gold may see a bullish bounce. Gold is ruled by the Sun, while Mars rules mining. Both planets act as triggers or catalysts for movement to push things forward without hesitation.

Sun with Mars, especially in Capricorn, denotes achievers. The animal spirit looks like a goat climbing the highest hilltops.

This pairing seems to indicate a dynamic bullish sentiment. However, no one transit or planetary pairing stands alone for interpretation. We need to look at what’s happening in the whole sky for a more complete forecast.

If you look at the chart images below, there are multiple squares. These can prove challenging, especially for investors, traders, and markets as well.

Money maven asteroid Juno transits the last degrees of Sagittarius just as planet Venus leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn. This combo infers a new beginning for finances, partnerships, and our commitment to ensuring their success.

However, Juno and Venus are in a challenging 90° square angle to Neptune. I’ve often found Venus square Neptune can be deceptive or challenge our faith. It’s a dreamy vibe that can be unrealistic, based more on hope than fact.

I’ve personally experienced Venus square to my natal Neptune transits as times when unexpected expenses for expensive car repairs arise. I think that’s because Neptune is in my natal 2nd house area.

With Venus, the Sun and Mars in early Capricorn, they’ll all square dwarf planet Ceres. In financial astrology, Ceres symbolizes grains and food commodities. The sickle glyph for Ceres represents a harvest or cutting. For this reason, it could be time to consider more sector rotations and diversify your portfolio to “separate the wheat from the chaff.”

Investors as signified by goddess asteroid Vesta is in opposition to Jupiter, planet of wealth, growth and expansion. These are both in a hard square angle to Chiron. I liken Chiron to being the celestial accountant.

This pattern implies a climax or culmination investments and coincides near year-end investing. People may therefore do well to calculate their winnings for 2025, plan tax loss harvesting, and regroup before 2026 begins.

Due to so many squares in the sky, it looks like stocks and indexes will all try to test previous highs. With the Sun about to conjoin Mars, markets may beat this stress test.

As for specific dates, on Monday afternoon, December 22nd, the Moon will conjoin Pluto exact at 3:37 p.m. ET. Since they’re both in the sign Aquarius which is guided by Uranus, markets may be somewhat volatile.

Another day for momentum extremes might be Wednesday, December 24th. The Moon in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus. Volatility for both Monday and Wednesday implicate NASDAQ or S&P 500 technology stocks or cryptocurrencies more so than the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA). Perhaps more fear about the AI bubble brings some sell-offs.

Our mood and investor sentiment shifts Friday, December 26th, when the Moon is in Pisces and conjoins Saturn late afternoon and early evening, exact at 7:41 p.m. ET. Investors may be more indecisive or uncertain than usual compared to the rest of the week.

Weekly Wrap-up: Our entire Solar System revolves around the Sun making it the strongest planetary influence. Applying conjunctions are the strongest alignment aspect. The Sun situated to link with Mars in zodiac sign Capricorn is forward action oriented.

Therefore, this week as a whole seems to be more bullish than bearish based on these geocosmic interpretations. It’s promising for a Santa Claus rally, yet we’ll have to see how it plays out.
